ISO
The ISO is the sensitivity of the camera. The brighter it is outside, the lower the ISO needs to be. This is because the lower the ISO, the more sensitive to light the camera is and if it's very sunny or bright where the picture is being taken, the ISO doesn't need to be as high. If the picture is being taken in a low-lit area, the higher the ISO will need to be otherwise the image will come out as very dark and you may not even be able to see the image you desired. If the ISO is too high, the picture will be overexposed and will also have more noise. If the ISO is too low, the picture will be too dark and underexposed.
![]() 1.This is a good picture because the ISO was set a little higher but It still showed the shadows and you can still see what was intended to be seen in the image. | ![]() 2.I think the ISO of this picture was set just right as the back is very bright because it was so sunny, but the main focus of the image - the 5 people in the front - can be seen very well. I think this is a good picture because it's very clear and you can easily tell what the main aspect of the image is. | ![]() 3.I think the ISO of this image should've been a bit lower as it looks a little over exposed. To make this image look better, the ISO could have been lower to make sure the image wasn't too bright. |

![]() 4.I think this image is too over exposed and so the ISO should have been lowered. Lowering the ISO would've made the image more clearer and a better quality because you would have been able to see the picture more clearly instead of everything being so white and looking like it blends into one. | ![]() 5.I think this image looks really good because although there is a lot of shadow at the front and it's brighter at the back, it is all in focus. I think the ISO on this was perfect as none of it is too over or under exposed. | ![]() 6.I think this picture would have been good had it been taken with a higher ISO. The 3 girls should be the main focus of the image but because the image is too underexposed, it is harder to decipher what the 3 figures are. If the ISO had been higher, the image would have the correct exposure and therefore would be easier to tell what it is. |
![]() 7.This is a good picture because the exposure was correct as the ISO was at the right setting. |
