Light Paintings
APPETURE
SHUTTER SPEED
ISO
The appeture size used in these pictures is F22, which means the size of the hole is small so it won't let as much light in as if the apeture was at F5.6 as there is less room for light to enter the camera.
The shutter speed suitable for light paintings was either x10, x15 or x30. These are all slow shutter speeds so the camera is able to pick up everything drawn with the lights.
We used ISO 100 for this project, meaning it was sensitive to light and therefore picked up all the movements with the lights. This was a good setting to have it on as the room was pitch black so there was no danger in the camera picking up anything else but the lights used to create the light paintings.
MY LIGHT PAINTINGS

This one worked fairly well as the different colours from the different lights came through really well. I like it because the different colours so close together look really effective.

This light painting didn't work so well as the light from the white torch wasn't strong enough to come through very well.

This is almost the same as number 2, but it worked better as the light from the white torch was stronger and therefore showed up better than it did in number 2. I like this because the beams both start from the back of the picture and progress forwards to either side of the camera. I also think it looks good because they look as though they are interlocking at the beginning.
