Medical photography is used to show and document medical and surgical procedures. It usually is not edited in any way and therefore can be classed as documental photography. These would usually be shot with bright lighting as they would be shot in theatre.

Forensic photography is usually photographs of the crime scene or of evidence. It is usually shot with natural lighting or sometimes using UV lights to make evidence stand out more.
This is a typical forensic photograph being taken of a crime scene. This photo would be taken using natural light as it doesnt need to have a high exposure, it just needs to be a simple picture. I think this is a good picture because it shows what forensic photography is.
